As the Associate Information Analyst II you will be responsible for Data/Document Management Support:  supports utilization of IM systems and processes by responding promptly to end-user inquiries.  Assures that problems are resolved to customer’s satisfaction.  Retrieves necessary information from or about IM systems to fulfill end-user requests; handles more general questions related to supported apps I.e. How to get an account?  Answer help calls and delegates to more senior staff where appropriate; may function as the department archivist to manage heterogeneous collections of research records such as:  Clinical Study Files, Regulatory Submission Communications, or collections of documentation and/or data for a system; utilizes admin tools to manage data/documents as needed.  Utilizes simple query tools to build queries/statements when needed to facilitate data management initiatives; and support quality control initiatives and follow-up on corrective action. The incumbent will be responsible for Resources/Technology:  participates in maintaining current resources/systems and participates in the evaluation of new technologies and/or processes. Responsible Training/Presentation:  supports the coordination of formal training sessions.  May provide one-on-one training sessions and assists in the development of manuals and training sessions, handles more specific questions related to supported apps.  How do I retrieve information from this app?  Answer help calls, provides answers to and delegates to more senior staff where appropriate.  Basic presentation skills.  Presents to small groups, peers, including IM staff and client groups.  The incumbent will also be responsible for Project Role Expectation:  participates in IM or Wyeth projects as a team member.  Organizational Leadership:  may provide daily task assignment organizational leadership to exempt and/or non-exempt staff to meet department objectives.

This position requires a B.S. degree in computer sciences, information sciences, scientific discipline or related field required with 3 years of relevant experience or M.S. in same areas with 1 year experience.  Familiarity with application development methodologies, information retrieval systems, system administration techniques, client/server development tools, HTML &  web scripting (Perl, Java script), SQL, relational database design, business process reengineering, project management, or workflow analysis or process modeling experience.
