Thomas Minero
Tom is an independent IT consultant and nationally recognized
software trainer with more than 20 years experience in the software
industry. For the past sixteen years he has served as the training
consultant for Thomson Tax & Accounting, a division of Thomson Corp,
and during this period he has trained more than 900 accounting firms
in the deployment of technology solutions for their firms.
Tom’s firm, Training Resources Inc, is currently focusing on small
and medium sized companies interested in implementing an EDM
solution. The company is developing generic educational and training
courseware for this market segment. His firm also develops and
produces customized computer-based learning courseware for
individual clients. Users of his firm’s custom courseware include
several of the regional Bell companies Tom has been a frequent
speaker on how to create effective software training. He has
delivered talks at various conferences around the country, including
the DCI Technology Conference series. Prior to founding Training
Resources, Inc., Tom was Vice President / IT Services for the U.S.
division of an international shipping conglomerate. He holds a
Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University and a Master of
Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Greg Bartels
Mr. Bartels is CEO & President of Image Processing Systems, Inc. (IPS).
Over the past eighteen years, Mr. Bartels has concentrated his
career on the electronic imaging industry. Prior to establishing
Image Processing Systems, Mr. Bartels was the Director of Sales for
Imtech Corporation. From 1986 to 1990, Mr. Bartels was instrumental
in establishing a new division of NCR Corporation, Information
Imaging Systems. While at NCR Information Imaging Systems, Mr.
Bartels was responsible for a successful start-up in Chicago,
Illinois. More recently Mr. Bartels has directed document management
opportunities for MetLife, Guardian Life, Johnson & Johnson, State
of Ohio and many others.
Allan P. Spina
Mr. Allan P. Spina is the founding Principal of Information Asset
Associates, LLC (IAA), an organization that is focused on the
advancement of document imaging, document management, workflow, BPM,
and collaborative applications and architectures. Mr. Spina has
been actively engaged since 1983 with experience and expertise in
these application areas, as well as with various related management
consulting and information technologies. Engagements Mr. Spina has
been involved with span Insurance, Banking and Finance,
Telecommunications, Health Care, Government, and Construction
segments, utilizing various imaging, document management, workflow,
and BPM software packages.
Mr. Spina has been an AIIM International member since 1988, and has
held offices for the Garden State Chapter of AIIM of 1st VP –
Programs, three terms as President, was the Treasurer from
2000-2004, and again holds the role of Treasurer. Allan is an
internationally noted speaker and consultant, having been involved
in efforts in Europe, South Africa, Asia, as well as throughout
North America. Mr. Spina is an early recipient of the Master of
Information Technology from AIIM International, receiving this
designation in 1999.
Arthur Hedge III
Arthur Hedge is the President of Castle Ventures LLC. Castle
Ventures is a consulting firm focused on technology and Business
Process Management solutions. Mr. Hedge has over 20 years of
consulting experience in the Information Technology field with both
privately held and publicly traded firms. Before starting Castle
Ventures in 2002, he was the Vice President of Professional Services
for Steelpoint Technologies. Steelpoint Technologies was focused on
the development of strategic Business Process Automation Solutions.
Mr. Hedge is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and two sons. He
is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the
IEEE Computer Society and the Association for Information and
Imaging Management. He is active in standards work for AIIM. Mr.
Hedge serves as a mentor for Columbia University’s Technology
Management program. He is a board member of the Foundation for
Teaching Economics. He is a frequent speaker and writer on
technology subjects
Ganesh Vednere
Ganesh Vednere is a Manager with Capgemini Financial Services where
he works with financial clients to implement content and records
management programs. He has been involved in all aspects of records
management programs including strategy, policy, compliance, record
retention research and technology implementation. He has over 15
years of industry experience in various business and technology
areas.
Mr. Vednere has been active within the content and records
management communities, including AIIM, for several years and has
published a number of articles on records management in leading
national and international publications. He has a bachelors degree
in Computer Sciences and is a certified electronic records
management master (ERMm) from AIIM. Mr. Vednere is the 2009
recipient of AIIM International’s Distinguished Service Award.
Christine Scoppetta
Ms. Scoppetta is an Associate Information Officer with American
International Group, Inc. (AIG), responsible for the development and
support of content management solutions. She has held this position
for 4 years. Previously, she has worked on the vendor side of the
document management business with Documentum, Recognition
International and NCR Corp. in various consulting and systems
engineering positions.
Ms. Scoppetta has been in the document management field for over 15
years and has experience in a wide variety of industries including
government, finance and insurance. She has been involved with AIIM
for over 10 years and holds a bachelor's degree in Computer
Information Systems from Mercy College.
Joe Talik
Joe is a results oriented leader who has a fast-track of success and
a wealth of expertise in both business and technology disciplines.
He leverages thought leadership and expertise to resolve complex
business problems, deliver critical initiatives in business
transformation, creates successful methodologies and governance
models, and provides solid leadership. Joe is driven to think
outside of the box ensuring companies operate with the most optimal
business and technology models saving millions of dollars for
companies. Joe is also an active member of the International
Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP), The Outsourcing
Institute and Society for Information Management (SIM).
Joe has received his MBA in Finance and Accounting with Honors from
Regis University. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration from the University of Detroit - Mercy and Masters
Certificates in Organization Leadership, Six Sigma, Applied Project
Management and Information Systems and Technology Project Management
from Villanova University. Joe holds certifications as an ITIL V3
Foundation Professional, Outsourcing Professional (COP), Project
Management Professional (PMP) and Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB).
Outside of work at Booz Allen Hamilton, Joe is currently an Adjunct
Professor at Felician College teaching in their MBA program.
Barry Johnson
Barry has over 30 years of sales and marketing experience in all
aspects of the Information Technology Business. Over the past 15
years Barry has been involved in document management and business
continuity with roles as a VP for a private consulting/metrics
company and most recently with Xerox Global Services and Gartner.
This accumulation of experience has inspired him to start the
company Digital Trend Group aimed at protecting customer’s
information in whatever form it exists (structured & unstructured).
His prior experience is with such well-known companies as Unisys,
Digital Equipment Corp./HP and Sun Microsystems. In those positions
he has managed teams aimed at the top accounts in a wide variety of
industries including Financial Services, Media, Publishing and
Telecommunications.
Barry is a native of New Jersey. He graduated with a BA in Economics
and Business Administration from Rutgers University. He served in
the US Coast Guard, is married and has two daughters.
Pavel Belenkiy
Pavel Belenkiy is a Vice
President at CITI, responsible for establishing Shared Document
Capture platforms, providing guidance, standards and strategy within
Document Capture domain to all CITI businesses. He has been involved
in development, engineering, design and implementation of various
Document Capture solutions, including one of the largest distributed
Document Capture system implementations for Global Wealth
Management. He has been involved in the Document Imaging industry
for over 10 years.
Mr. Belenkiy holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science from New
York University and Master of Information Systems from Stevens
Institute of Technology.
